Photos of American Buildings by Trucker Mike:  Page 1 Buildings, Page 2 Buildings, Page 3

I've driven by tens of thousands of buildings and of course it would be impossible to take pictures of all of them.  Why would I want to?  Most of them are rather ordinary, the same kinds of structures you probably see every day on your way to or from work or driving to the store.  In fact, you probably live and work in rather ordinary buildings because most people do.  The photos in this section are here for a few reasons: 1) they caught my eye as I was driving by (size? shape? color? age? strangeness?); 2) I happened to have my camera with me when I saw the building, and the camera had film in it; 3) conditions were conducive to taking a picture at the time (enough light, fairly decent angle, tolerable traffic and road conditions).  All this means is that these pictures are not intended to be a complete record or listing of anything.  I'm sure there are bigger, smaller, older, newer, stranger buildings all over the place, but I did not see the other buildings or I was not able to take their pictures if I did see them.  With that said, enjoy the tour.  If I have mislabeled or not labeled something and you know what or where the building is, please e-mail me with the information so I can correct the page.

Square and curved Bldg.-Atlanta Pink and silver striped Bldg-Atlanta. Bluish building with vertical shafts-Atlanta
This square and curved pair of buildings is probably in the  Atlanta area, probably off I.285. This pink-striped building overlooks I>285 in the Atlanta area. This bluish building with vertical shafts is again in the Atlanta region.
Memphis Pyramid Sports Complex beside I.40. Blue office building of I.95, Baltimore. Pink house with Gingerbread, Blossburg, PA.
This picture is a bit blurry because I took it while dealing with I.40 traffic through Memphis.  The pyramid is used for sporting events, I believe. The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission HQ in Laurel, MD, which deals with drinking and sewer water, thus the water drop at top center. Loaded with gingerbread and last year's Christmas lights, this house is in Blossburg, PA.
New full-color mural by I.94, Chicago. Gilded capitol dome, Charleston, WV. Reflective glass slab of a building, Chicago area.
This is now the building which used to have the black and white mural (see below center). The gilded dome of the capitol building rises above Charleston, WV. This mirrored slab of a building is somewhere in the Chicago suburbs.  How could it resist a strong wind hitting it from the broad side?
Cream and black office building in the Chicago suburbs. Chicago mural building near I.94. Sears Tower, downtown Chicago.
Another Chicago suburb edifice. Peeking above the elevated highway, I.94 I think, in Chicago. This building has been repainted twice since this photo. It now has full-color pictures on it. Sears Tower in Chicago, at one time the tallest building in the world.
Empty southern warehouse. Country church in northcentral Ohio. Dayco Building off I.75, southwest Ohio.
Abandoned warehouse somewhere in the South. An old country church in a field off U.S. 6 in north-central Indiana. Office building along I.75 in southwest Ohio.
